Our Guide on Assisted Living
Senior living as an industry is full of so many terms—assisted living, independent living, Life Plan communities, CCRCs, etc. It can get confusing! That’s why we developed a handy guide designed to help you ask better questions about assisted living, so you can determine if it might be the right fit for you or a loved one.
As a Life Plan community, Canterbury Court in Atlanta offers a comprehensive spectrum of care for seniors who want to experience the very best in senior living. From our beautiful independent living neighborhoods to assisted living, memory support, and skilled nursing, no matter where you may be in your journey, you can find the right fit here at Canterbury Court.
Our assisted living neighborhood, Azalea View, is open to both independent living residents as part of our Life Plan and to the general public for direct admission. Our 1- and 2-bedroom apartment homes in Azalea View offer beautiful designs and thoughtful touches throughout, including kitchenettes with an induction cooktop, refrigerator, and microwave. These spacious apartments feature walk-in closets with a washer and dryer, and many floor plans offer balconies.
And of course, like all residents at Canterbury Court, our assisted living residents get to enjoy all of the fantastic social and entertainment activities that are happening both on and off campus, including scenic drives and trips to visit area dining, shopping and more.
