Canterbury Court has always been a place of warmth and connection. A vibrant community of people who have joined together to share a great life. We’re excited to bring you the newest part of our campus: the beautiful Monarch Pavilion. Beyond the independent living our community is so well known for offering, Monarch Pavilion is the new home for our continuing care services, including:
As Atlanta’s original Life Plan community, we’ve offered healthcare services since 1965. But as our community has grown, so too has the need for more comprehensive healthcare for our residents. With the opening of Monarch Pavilion, we are growing our commitment to being the leader in continuing care in Atlanta and beyond.
Canterbury Court embraces the person-centered Eden Alternative® philosophy—an approach designed to eliminate loneliness, helplessness, and boredom from the lives of seniors by creating a genuine sense of connection and pursuing opportunities for meaningful engagement each and every day.
This approach focuses on concepts like celebrating identity and a sense of self, encouraging connectedness, providing security, enabling autonomy, and always searching for chances to find meaning, growth and joy.
With a name inspired by the Monarch butterflies that call our Legacy Gardens home, Monarch Pavilion is the beautiful, four-floor home for all of Canterbury Court’s healthcare services, along with additional independent living apartments at The Verandas. Located in the heart of campus, adjacent to our Legacy Gardens, Monarch Pavilion is a wonderful neighborhood where residents will get the great healthcare they need, delivered by our outstanding team members with the warm, person-centered approach one would expect from Canterbury Court.
